Male Show puppy Sales Contract - An agreement
between KalaMals Kennel and the Buyer
Purchase Price $ 1400.00 .
After check deposit the remainder of balance
must be paid in the form of cash, certified
check or money order.
Payment in full must be made before the buyer
takes possession of the dog.

The puppy's registered name must contain
KalaMals as a prefix as part of the registered
name. A co-ownership will be maintained until an
AKC Championship is awarded. Breeder agrees
to sign off as co-owner after receiving the
Official AKC Championship certificate. Buyer
agrees to make this male Alaskan Malamutes
available to the Breeder for breeding KalaMals
Bitches ( only Kalamals females owned by
Breeder ) at no cost, and not to castrate
this male puppy/dog.
A show PUPPY is defined here to be a Alaskan
Malamute puppy which is in good health at
the time of sale, and embodies the characteristics
of the Alaskan Malamute breed . Show prospect
means that said dog has no disqualifying
faults or features under either the Breed
Standard or the show rules of the American
Kennel Club, as of the date of this sale.
Said dog is in no way guaranteed to win in
the show ring, but should be capable of competing
with other dogs of it’s particular breed
and age, provided that said dog is properly
conditioned, competently handled, (being
either breeder, owner, breeder or professional
handler), and exhibited a sufficient number
of times. It is understood that with proper
care on the part of the buyer, in due time
(given to at least 24 months of age), said
dog should be of acceptable good temperament
and structure, and should embody the basic
standards of the breed. All males are guaranteed
against orchidisms, If a male show puppy
at 6 months does not have both testicles
decended breeder agrees to refund the difference
paid by buyer between cost of a show and
companion . If seller wishes to sell the male breeder
will assist the BUYER in finding a suitable
home for the PUPPY. In the event that the
dog will be returned to the breeder and buyer
shall sign over all AKC paperwork to breeder
Julie Kalamja as sole owner .
The BREEDER guarantees the above described
dog to be healthy at the time of the sale.
The BREEDER does not assume any liability
for any injury to said puppy after delivery.
The BUYER agrees to have this puppy examined
by a veterinarian within three days of delivery.
Breeder does hereby warrant that said dog
is in good health and that seller will replace
any dog which is not in good health, provided
buyer submits in writing within three working
day of arrival of said dog a statement from
a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine stating the
disease or infirmity in which said dog was
suffering from on the date of arrival. Said
dog will be replaced, provided that buyer
agrees to pay for shipping of such replacement.
Replacement will be selected by seller from
the next available litter, should no other
dog be available at that time. Seller’s liability
shall be limited to one such replacement.
If the puppy is found to be other than healthy
by the BUYER'S veterinarian, it shall be
returned to the BREEDER immediately, and
the purchase price will be refunded minus
deposit . ( Simple diarrhea is not an illness ). If the puppy is returned to breeder , the
buyer shall assume any expenses associated
with returning the puppy. In no event shall
the amount of any refund, reimbursement or
liability on the part of KalaMals Kennel
to the buyer be greater than the purchase
price of the dog.
All appropriate shots for the PUPPY'S age
have been given, and a record of this vaccination
history is supplied. No veterinary or other
costs of keeping the puppy/dog, or any other
costs incurred by the Buyer resulting from
his/her ownership of the puppy/dog, will
be paid by the Seller to the Buyer of the
puppy/dog under any circumstances. The BUYER
agrees to maintain the puppy's health in
good condition, and to provide yearly examinations,
vaccinations, heartworm test, and any other
usual procedures necessary to assure good
health.
There are many factors that can influence
growth and development, such as diet, exercise,
weight gain, etc.. The BUYER assumes the
responsibility to carry on with the appropriate
vaccinations, exercise and feeding schedule,
as supplied by the BREEDER. MOST PARTICULARLY,
the BUYER agrees to keep the puppy slim throughout
it's normal growth period. The BREEDER can
offer no further guarantees once the care
of the puppy is no longer under their control.
The Buyer agrees to allow the Breeder access
to the puppy/dog, and to the premises where
it is kept, to evaluate the condition therein
Buyer of show/breeding puppies shall obtain
OFA hip certification and CERF certification
as soon as possible after the puppy/dog reaches
24 months of age and before breeding. Buyer
agrees that any bitch being bred to this
Alaskan Malamute shall be approved by the
Breeder. All breedings must be done by contract,
and any bitch bred to this male must have
OFA and CERF hip certification of good or
better.
Buyer agrees that if at any time, and for
any reason, he/she is unable to keep or properly
care for the puppy/dog, it shall be returned
to the BREEDER and to no one else. The Buyer’s
understanding and acceptance of this condition

have the first choice to either: (a) take
the PUPPY back or (b) assist the BUYER in
finding a suitable home for the PUPPY. In the event that the dog will be returned
to the breeder and buyer shall sign over
all AKC paperwork to breeder Julie Kalamja
as sole owner , No money will be refuded
The BUYER agrees to notify the BREEDER of
any changes of address during the PUPPY'S
lifetime. The Buyer agrees to provide a suitable
fenced area for this puppy.
Beside good and reasonable care, the buyer
agrees to:
a) Allow the dog to live in your home, as
a participating family member and to treat
the dog humanely with proper safeguards taken
for the care and safety of the dog;
b) annual veterinary checks, including yearly
heartworm tests, to properly administer a
heartworm preventative, and any other health
care needs;
c) to confine the dog in a fenced yard, kennel
run or walk on a leash but NOT restrain the
dog on a rope, chain or tether;
d) to keep the dog clean and properly groomed,
provide the dog with human living conditions
and adequate housing;
e) to attend and participate with the dog
in at least a basic obedience course by at
least six months of age no later than eight
months of age using positive reinforcement
Purchasers agree to notify the breeder if
any such contingency arises . The buyer agrees
and promises to never take this dog to a
humane society or animal shelter; to never
train, use or allow the dog to be used in
dog fighting, medical research, protection
training, attack training or as a guard dog
for self or any agency, firm, corporation
or organization. If dog is found to have
been sold or given away without Breeders
knowledge and said breeder discovers this,
Breeder will take legal action and original
purchaser of the dog will be responsible
for all legal expenses incurred.
Buyer agrees not to sue Seller and to pay
any and all court /attorneys fees incurred
by the Seller should any suit be brought
against the Seller in regard to this puppy/dog by any

The BREEDER neither makes or implies any
warranties or guarantees, express or implied,
other than those written in the agreement
including, without limitation, the warranties
of merchantability and fitness. This document
constitutes the entire agreement between
the Breeder and Buyer with respect to this
sale. Ile Buyer's signature below indicates
that he/she has read, agrees and does understands
all the conditions of the Sales Agreement
and Contract of Sale.
The Breeder reserves the right to cancel
a reservation should it be determined that
a client may not be a suitable home during
the term of the selection or waiting process.
KalaMals reserves the right to cancel any
reservation for any reason at its sole discretion.
Upon such cancellation, a refund of the deposit
shall be made . Persons placing reservations
for the purchase of a Puppy hereby agree
to and do indemnify and hold harmless KalaMals
from any and all damages or liability resulting
from such cancellation. By signature, the
buyer accepts all the foregoing and constitutes
this as a binding contract.
