Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together ....
Ch Kumata's Absolut Angel ROM
June 1998 - May 2007
It's with great sadness that I report the passing of our Shyla , Ch Kumata's Absolut Angel ROM from a breast cancer / tumor. She was our first champion , our foundation bitch and our couch potato. She was beautiful in every way , her passing has created a void in our hearts that cannot be filled. She helped create the wonderful family we have now. Shyla produced a total of nine pups from two litters and five of those went on to be our first generation champions. A friend we will never forget. She will live forever in our hearts.
Shyla... You truly were an angel sent down from heaven. I know in time we will forget the hurt and just remember all those wonderful things you gave us. Things that will forever be a part of our lives. I remember the day I picked you out. Of the pups that ran into the kitchen, you came straight to me. You ran into the water bowl and splashed in the water and chased the ball around the kitchen. Your facial expressions , your ability to almost talk and absolute liveliness were infectious. These qualities would stay with you till the end. You helped create the wonderful family we have now and we can not thank you enough for that. You will always be the Queen. Our "Absolut Angel". Love Forever, Eric and Julie
CANDY - 1995 - 2007
Candy, Our first adopted rescue , our fifth malamute passed away at 12 years of old age. We found her when she was left in a backyard after her family moved away without her , a poor young thing that every time you reached out to touch her she would cringe, she also had heartworms . She found a home with us for the past 10 years and grew to love all the malamutes of our family and helped raise our puppies and keep our other malamutes company . She will be dearly missed by us and is missed by her kennel mates.
